Are some spam traps still blocking Amazon IP addresses ?

A few years ago I'm pretty sure Spamhaus blacklisted all the Amazon EC2 IPs because of the volume of spam. Is all that over and is port 25 fully usable ?

Amazon's EC2 are still blacklisted, my understanding is that it's so easy for spammers to get an account spew spam out and then dump it.

Amazon do however have their own mail service for sending mail through which are not blacklisted and it has a procedure in place to verify things, this I believe is the only viable option if you want to reliably send email from EC2.
