Is installing RPM files on Debian possible ?

It's a bit lazy not using the source but it would save a lot of time if I can convert RPMs of packages that aren't available in Debian from Redhat flavours.

Thanks a lot for any help.

You can install, if all dependencies are available.

One way and perhaps is not a good solution.

You can convert RPM to CPIO with rpm2cpio.

Then restore cpio file under Debian and install it.
