NIC Speed and Duplex Problems

My server NIC is set to 100Mb/s Auto, and my ISP informs me that the switch port uplink is also set to 100Mb/s Auto, but I'm only seeming to get 100Mb/s half duplex.

What's wrong?

Check you are running latest drivers and yep, agree with BonoEstente move away from auto and set it to 100 fixed. Check ethernet cable too.

In linux you can check this by using 'mii-tool' in command-line-interface
