What would cause this ? It looks scary.

Can you get out to the internet? Looks like the box can resolve the address, please check your dns settings.

Check Internet connection.

If error only about this resource you can disable it.

sudo vim /etc/apt/sources.list

and use # to change status to commit

It happens when the box is offline (or in my case there was no gateway set). Thanks for your help.
